Pastor Banks and Abby joined the Tabernacle family in November 2011. They brought with them energy and four boys, Adam, Noah, Jonah and Seth. On Easter Sunday, 2015, Pastor and Adam arrived in Ethiopia for the last step in their adoption journey and were finally able to bring Anna home to her forever family.
Pastor Banks grew up in a church planter's home in Eastern Canada. A dual citizen from birth through his mother, John met Abby at BJU in South Carolina and they celebrated their 21st anniversary in 2020.
In December 2020, he finished a Historical Theology ThM program with the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He is currently a PhD candidate (Free University of Amsterdam).
Pastor Banks has a desire to make the Word of God known in such a way that the glory of Christ may be clearly seen.

Born in to a missionary family, Jeremy has lived in seven different countries and has visited over a dozen countries on five different continents! He holds several Christian Counselling and biblical degrees and serves as the Regional Director of Foundations Christian Counseling Services.
Jeremy came to the Tabernacle in 2018 to assist in family ministry. He is our Sunday School Superintendent and also an Elder. Jeremy is currently taking the lead with a new curriculum for our Tabernacle Express (Junior Church) program.
The church brought him on as associate pastor in the summer of 2021. Jeremy brings years of valuable experience and wisdom to TBC.

Jennifer joined our staff recently in March 2021. She just completed her AA in Business from Liberty University. She is excited about the opportunity to assist the church in the office and has enjoyed working here the past few months.

Marilyn has been on our staff as treasurer in excess of 3 years. Marilyn is trustworthy and capable. She also manages our Nursery Staff of volunteers. We are very blessed to have Marilyn at the helm of both very important aspects of our church ministry.
